In order to encourage the innovation enthusiasm of technical personnel, stimulate R&D vitality, improve technical level, and ensure the effective execution and efficiency achievement of the company's annual technical projects, after research and decision by PCB business unit, the Technical Management Department organized this (first stage) phased selection activity.
The event took one and a half months to complete various tasks, including the collection of project submissions, evaluation, recognition, and promotional activities. The eligible projects for consideration were those recorded in the "Panoramic Map of R&D Projects in All Three Plants," as well as technological or improvement projects that had been completed during the 2023-2024 period. Projects that had applied for an extension or were temporarily suspended were not considered for selection.
This activity collected 13 projects submitted by technical departments from three locations, which were evaluated by a panel of judges organized by the Technical Management Department. The evaluation criteria included innovation, benefits or value, feasibility of the solution, technical difficulty, clarity of the report, and presentation skills. The award winners are as follows: First Prize 1, Second Prize 2, Third Prize 3.
This phased selection activity has greatly stimulated the innovation enthusiasm of technical personnel and improved the project management level of engineers. It is a phased inspection conducted to ensure the efficient execution and effectiveness of annual technical projects. At the same time, this activity helps to create a positive innovation atmosphere, promote the company's technological development and exchange, form a good atmosphere of "learning technology and doing projects", and lay a solid foundation for the achievement of the company's PCB technology strategy.
