In the high-quality development of the printed circuit board industry, highly-skilled talent is the core competitiveness. As Yancheng’s first pilot enterprise for direct skill level certification, the Jiangsu facility has pioneered a new talent evaluation model tailored to industry needs, helping skilled employees stand out and setting a benchmark for the sector.
Traditional skill assessments often prioritized theory over practice, leaving many skilled technicians without formal credentials. Aligning with policy directives, the Jiangsu facility has developed certification standards based on relevant guidelines and enterprise requirements, shifting the focus toward “solving production challenges and driving technological innovation.” In mid-October, the first round of direct certification for Technicians and Senior Technicians was completed. Through a rigorous process including qualification review, performance evaluation (50%), on-site defense (30%), and comprehensive assessment (20%), Wang Kecheng was certified as a “Senior Technician in Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing,” while Zhang Jun and Wang Yongxing were certified as “Technicians.” This milestone marks a key step in the company’s autonomous evaluation of skilled talent.
In recent years, leveraging relevant systems and platforms, the Jiangsu facility has trained 311 skilled professionals at various levels, establishing a cycle where “evaluation fosters growth, and growth enables advancement.” This pilot initiative broadens employee development pathways, enabling rapid certification based on practical contributions and enhancing professional pride. Moving forward, the company will deepen collaboration with human resources authorities to refine training mechanisms, empowering more craftspeople to realize their potential and fueling industrial upgrading with skilled talent.
